Park view
Also includes crane view, free of charge! I'm ashamed to say my comment replies will be spotty this weekend. I am not one of those people who can type like the wind on an iPhone. I type like the... hen. NYC is beautiful today... The weather is lovely. We're going to the Met, I think. I have to go... The husb just spilled broken glass on my hairbrush and contact lens solution. I hope this photo thing works!
(oh no, photo doesn't work) :-( there goes my dream of a photographic travelogue!

Don't worry, I'll use my imagination. The view is beautiful (but I have to say, the feathered toasters seem out of place).
Hi Katie!
Hey, that's EXACTLY how Iowa looked like when I was there. I will never forget that tiny little "x" in the square. He was very nice and very apologetic. The squares were equally remorseful.
So, did you have breakfast at Tiffany's yet?
I've gone off on a tangent (again) and abandoned momentarily my two developing stories that I told you previously about. I have this genius idea for a poem (remember the classic Christmas Phooey?) that I would like to pen to paper, but I want to share with you the first line and get your opinion. The first line can make or break a poem. Here it is:
Oh ye Martian lands beseeched by wrath.
I know what you are thinking and you are correct, this is a love poem. I know it’s hard to gauge the quality of this poem on just one line, but when I have more committed to paper I will share it with you. In the meantime, does this first line seem well constructed to you? Thanks:0)
I'm in awe of your travels and your ability to use your phone to blog . . .
feathered toasters...hee. Sorry, that just makes me think of Six. :P
Bring pics back with you! And have a great trip!
13, Jemima Bean, what is feathered toasters? Help a clueless person to understand your sophisticated references!
Tut-tut, doing this by phone requires a superhuman level of backspacing and starting over!
Tom, brilliant! Dont change a word!
Man!! I sure do seem!! Excited!!!
Wish I could use a phone to blog. As it is, I'm just thrilled to be able to take pictures on one. (Finally. As of this afternoon -- seriously. I've photographed the THREE dead rodents my cat placed on our back doorstep and will be blogging about this. I know, I know: the thrill. Stay tuned.)
I used to love the Metropolitan when I lived in New York. One day a week, it was always free, and I spent hours there. God, what a cheapskate I sound like. But there it is. At least I'm a cultured cheapskate.
Mary, did I miss that blog post? LOL. Watch out, world, Mary's gone high-tech! If only you had photographic accompaniment for your posts about Japan.
