Winston's ear surgery went fine.
I spoke to the nurse. Winston is fine, and he's coming home tonight.
Thanks for your support and kind thoughts.

Katie--great news!
Yay Winston. We've had ours put under for a few different things over the years and I always fret. I'm glad he's home and moving on to enjoying more sugar cookies.
Also the debs have posted on the site the news for how to sign up. Just saying. : )
You have a little hot house puppy! First a thorn is his little paw and now his ear. I wish we received the wonderful treatment that our pets do. My middle daughter is a vet tech and I can guarantee that any animal she comes into contact with gets the best!
Sorry to hear about Winston having to have surgery. But since I just now found out about it, I can breath a simultaneous sigh of relief knowing he's okay.
Poor little feller.
Well, I guess this calls for some pampering and EXTRA TLC. Keep us posted, please.
That’s great news, Katie! Hoping Winston makes a quick recovery. :)
PS. Thanks for linking to my blog!
It's difficult having anyone, let alone a speechless pet, having such a problem. I'm glad Winston is on the mend.
Gina, thank you!
Eileen, as you already know, I've already applied. I applied immediately, in fact, with the enthusiasm of the 4th grade eraser-clapper.
Laura, oh the money I would save if I had a vet tech in the family! LOL.
Tom, yes, a little extra TLC. In addition to the admittedly obscene amounts of TLC he gets as a matter of course. ("Have a steak... Tom says so.") I'm glad you came upon the news late enough that you didn't have to worry!
Mary, thank you... and you're welcome!
Thanks, tut-tut.
You all rock! It's easier to get through stuff like this knowing people are pulling for you (well, for your dog).
BTW, today, based on the positive comments you wrote in a previous post, I bought the book the Life of Pi (Remember? After reading a brief summary of the book I thought the story was banal). But since you obviously enjoyed it, I'm going to see what the big deal is all about.
If I hate it, I'm going to blame you:0)
Hope my buddy Winston is still doing well.
Ha! You can blame me, Tom. No worries.
That's wonderful! I'm glad to hear it. :-) Hope his recovery is quick and as pain-free as possible.
Aw I hope he's all better by now! Poor puppy!!
Glad to hear everything went well.
I'm sure you're just emotionally exhausted right now. Take care of yourself, too, you hear?
